9 to 5

9 to 5 is a game where you work a 9 to 5 desk job reading and deleting emails while annoying pop-ups appear.

This is Game Jam game I made for the Mini Jam 98: Empty with the limitation of Make it a Roguelike.

My game follows the theme of Empty with the concept of working a meaningless/soul crushing desk job.

It follows the limitation of Make it a Roguelike by having text and images randomly chosen from a database. I know it doesn't strictly follow the rules of having it procedurally generated but every run is a bit different. 

I choose to make this because I wanted to do something different from a basic dungeon roguelike and I think the topic of having a job you don't partially like is something everyone can relate to, I know I can.
